Healing Circles
We offer 4-week and 6-week Healing Circles to center Black employee experiences. We also offer separate groups for other People of Color, women, and other marginalized identities as needed by the organization.
Read MoreGoogle, Virgin Pulse, The San Francisco Ballet, and The United Negro College Fund report improved employee well-being after experiencing our Healing Circles. Members are guided in sharing experiences while learning coping and resistance skills in order to thrive and not merely survive. Healing Circles focus on liberation. We utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to combat the psychological and physiological impacts of anti-Black racism and other forms of oppression on mental wellness in the workplace. Merging mental health services and diversity and inclusion consulting practices is the foundation of the Healing Circles process.
Humility Circles
We cannot dismantle what we dismiss. The role of whiteness and white supremacy is too often dismissed. We offer an engaging and necessary learning process, in a group setting, to actualize true allyship and anti-racist mindsets. People who self-identify as white are invited to voluntarily join us on this journey.
Read MoreIn these Humility Circles, led by trained white-identified staff, there are no stupid questions and members are encouraged to learn how to sit with the distinct discomfort that comes from conversations about race, power, and whiteness. Racial Emotional Regulations SkillsTM are taught. The ability to develop these skills is crucial to the overall DEI process that is often stalled by white guilt, and fragility if not addressed early on.

Tailored Educational Progression
It is not enough to want to do something. Rash, performative actions often lead to more harm and ruptures in trust. The Learn component of our model is a series of curated workshops and team retreat experiences. These workshops provide a tailored educational progression that bring the whole organization, and/or key leaders, into a deeper understanding of the fundamental structures necessary to engage in systemic change. Retreat services include DEI games to make difficult concepts accessible through play. Deeper reflection and application for team DEI goals is facilitated. Ongoing DEI coaching and consultation is available.
Read MoreAlthough anti-racist consulting is never over, the goal is to get sufficient knowledge in order avoid short-sighted or problematic policies. We believe that anti-racist consulting must be informed and intentional every step of the way.
Workshops topical areas include Oppression 101, Psychological Safety, Anti-Blackness in the Workplace, Communication and Power, Allyship, and The Long Road to Liberation, etc.

Making Change and Moving Forward
Our highest aim is to create Liberation, which is a system free from oppression that embraces true belonging and full inclusion. Our Liberate component often begins with a Reverse Town HallTM where leadership is prepared to present their newfound knowledge, make any apologies necessary, and wholeheartedly introduce changes in the process moving forward.
